How are The Huggable Horribles different from any other stuffed animals?
How are any two people different from one another. It’s the stuff they are made from and the fiber of their being. The Huggable Horribles are not toys. They are handmade pieces of touchable art. Each monster has a story whose core message is taken from real people. Please visit the story pages.

Where are they made?
The Huggable Horribles are handmade in New York and New Jersey. We have partnered with the not-for-profit OASIS: A Haven for Women and Children to help women become independent and develop entrepreneurial skills. What are the Huggable Horribles made of?
Each Huggable Horrible is made from Faux Fur which is a mix of acrylic and polyester. Fabric is through Shannon Fabric in California. Embroidered Eyes are embroidered locally in New Jersey. The stuffing is from the Carlee Corporatin in New Jersey made from sustainable material made in the USA.

Do any of the profits help others?
As we begin this venture will will donate $5 per monster a fund that will be donated to mental health facilities. Our first two are Silver Hill Hospital and Spring Lake Therapeutic Ranch in VT.

I want to get well and need to share how I am feeling. Can I do this on the Huggable Horribles site?
We have a blog page where we hope you’ll share some of your positives. This is not a medical site so we cannot give any medical advice- only encouragement to seek help and know you are not alone.
